We were lucky enough to get to go to Breckenridge with Doug's family in February. I literally got home from Vegas at midnight, slept a few hours, and then packed up the fam for some snowy fun. Thank goodness Doug had a head start on the packing because I HATE packing more than anything, especially all the gear that goes with snow and a family of 5.
One of the first nights we got there it was below freezing, so I stayed in with the little guy while Doug took the kids and headed downtown with his family.
This is what Hudson and I did.
Doug had to go back to Denver to work so I stayed up with the kids. Marc took Jaden skiing so Monica and I took Crew and Bradli out to play in the snow. There's nothing cuter than little ones all bundled up.

The next day, Marc and Karen were nice enough to watch all the kiddos so we could go snowboarding. They were smart by starting the day off with their Valentine's Day presents for the kids. They were all entertained with Bradli's Play-Doh and Jaden's Lego building.
As you can see, it was nice and cold on the mountain. The wind was howling, but it felt great to be back on the board after having a baby.

The next day Marc and Karen hit the slopes. . .
so we took the kiddos to the Children's Museum downtown. I was sooo impressed with the little museum. They packed a ton in for how small the space was. My kids were entertained for over 3 hours and could have stayed even longer. We pretty much closed the place down.

This is pretty much what Hudson did the entire time- he's a DREAM!
Our last real adventure was snowshoeing with the entire gang. Often times mine and Doug's ideas are not too realistic with the age of kids we have. It started out pretty good, but when a 5 year old gets tired and the Mom is already carrying a baby and the Dad is alreay carrying a 2 year old, plans end up changing. Oh well, we had fun hiking up a hill and then "snowshoeing" on a snow packed street.
Jaden had just as much fun climbing up all the snow.

Pretty soon it became easier for Jaden to "snowshoe" without his snowshoes. I became the carrier of the shoes.
