J-Z, we'll see how far I get!

Jaden
Loves school, playing with his friends, and getting to visit his favorite cousin Carter! He still hates getting his hair cut more than just about anything, notice how he is usually wearing a hat in most pics. My neighbor even offered to take him and thought for sure she would succeed, but NO such luck. He really is a sweetheart and has more energy than any 4 year old boy I know!

Kitchen and Kailyn
Bradli's very favorite thing to play. She'll use anything as a kitchen toy from tupperware, to pool toys, to just her imagination. Jaden and Bradli were both in heaven with the kitchen/grocery store at the Children's Museum.

We also got to see my cousins Cory and Christina's new baby girl Kailyn. Bradli was in heaven for about 2 minutes and then would hand the little baby off.

Lazy and Lisa

LAZY that sums me up pretty well these days! If it weren't for my kids I'd be sleeping in until noon, watching trashy reality TV, and ordering take-out!

Lisa's scrumptious booty with a Sno n' Go sticker stuck to it. She's going to love this pic!
Montage
Our favorite beach to go to when we're in CA.

No Way!!
We went to the Sand Dunes over Father's Day Weekend with Doug's Bosses Family. Our last morning there Doug and Heath hiked to the top of the dunes. They left at about 6am for the hike. I really would have gone if I wasn't pregnant and had been sleeping in a tent the last 2 nights. When they asked if I wanted to go, my answer was NO WAY!! We'll have to go again when I'm not preggers because it looked AMAZING!

Oh Soooo SASSY!!

Miss B's outfit for church from Grandma Brown was Oh sooooo SASSY!

POOL
This is where we spend most of our time these days. When we were in CA in July the weather was nuts and we only got to go to the pool 2 times. When the weather was great, the kids insisted on the "Big Red Bucket"!

We spent a lot of time at the pool in Snowmass and it was heaven. I was just jealous Cara got to spend a nice little snooze on the fancy poolside beds!!

This is where we spend just about everyday at home. We are total pool rats!

QUIT
This is what I want to do right now when it comes to this post- ugh!!
Rodeo

Grandpa Brown took Jaden to the rodeo and they had a great time checking things out!

Snowmass and the Sand Dunes
Seriously, this place is heaven on earth!!

Like I mentioned, over Father's Day Weekend we went to the Sand Dunes with Doug's Boss's Family. It was a blast and way more fun than I thought possible. We will go back for sure!

The kiddos loved sleeping in their sleeping bags and B would sing to us and the rest of the campground a little "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" every night!

We hiked to a waterfall one day and Doug had his work cut out for him. He always had a little one on his shoulders or in his arms.

This was our favorite. Running through the sand dunes was a stream that the kids could play in. They never wanted to leave, except when the wind would blow and nail you with sand. It killed!

Time
I wish I had more of it!!

Unbelievable

When we were in CA in April, I went to the Mission Viejo Chalk Festival with my Mom and the "One and Only" Grandma Heyman. I had never been to anything like it. It was UNBELIEVABLE!

VAIL
In March I got a group of 11 girls to hit Vail in style. Our friend Wendy hooked us up with an amazing room in Vail. We were only supposed to have 4 people in it, but managed to squeeze in a few more!! We ate, talked, forgot to take pics, and stayed up way too late. The next morning 4 of us hit the slopes at Copper Mountain while the other girlies slept in and shopped. It was a very successful weekend!

Wanting this post to be over!!
Only 3 more letters and I'm caught up! AMEN!!
X box
This is all Jaden wanted to do the entire time we were in CA!!

YES!! 2 more letters!!

ZZZZZZZZZZZ's
Now that I'm caught up, I can go catch some!! Night Night!

We're going to be OUTnumbered!!!

So where have I been the last 6 months?? Just lazy and so over blogging it's a little ridiculous. I guess to start things out, I should mention I have a bun in the oven. I wish I could say that's the reason I haven't blogged in 5 trillion months, but it's not. WHATEVER!! I'm about 18 weeks pregnant and am due on 1/1/11. I know, loco! So there I am with my baby bump, the baby that is going to outnumber Doug and I- UGH and YES I am nervous!

I guess to play MAJOR catch-up I am going to catch-up A-Z style. Here it goes (this is going to be a long one). . .

April
In April we went out to CA and had a great time with our many friends and family and of course Audrey!!

Breckenridge, Balboa, Big girl Bed, Bradli, and Barnhurst's
In February we went to Breckenridge with Doug's family and had a wonderful time.

Doug took Jaden up on the big lift and was determined to ski down with him.

It started like this,
progressed to this,

and ended like this!
It didn't help that we were right in the middle of a
Blizzard!!

Doug's sister Monica and her family were also able to come. We were there for the Ice Sculptures which is always a special treat.

We had a blast with baby Crew. He LOVED his first time swimming.

Bradli catching some zzzzz's while hitching a ride with Grandpa.

We even got to celebrate Joel's
B-day!

The kiddos loved making lots and lots of
Bubbles in Grandma and Grandpa's tub.

We went to CA in July and had a slumber party at Heather's new place on
Balboa. We stayed up way too late remembering some very memorable stories- wink, wink!!

Miss
B decided in March that she would no longer sleep in her crib, so a Big girl Bed has been her sleeping choice.

Bradli could really have her own blog!! We celebrated her 2nd Birthday on May 11th by going to the Denver Aquarium. We had a Blast!!

B couldn't get enough of the Bat rays and the. . .

sharks!!!

Blowing out her B-day candles!

I really could write pages and pages on this little lady. She is a fire cracker and absolutely HILARIOUS! Here's a few things about
B. . .

She really will eat everything! Her favorites right now are watermelon, broccoli, cheese, chicken, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, apple juice, goldfish crackers, edamame, and the list could go on and on. She even ate an entire Bratwurst one night- that's my girl!!

She's a talker!! Her favorite phrases are:
"Gosh dang it!" (I wonder who she learned that from??)
"Awesome"
She calls Jaden, "Jado"
She is ALWAYS singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star", "ABCs", and "Sunbeam"
She has named the baby to be "Jesus"- perfect!
She loves to play with her kitchen and make ketchup and eggs for anyone that will eat them!
She plays dolls all the time and even puts then in time-out- tough Mama
She wants to do everything on her own, including all car seat buckles.
She HATES to brush her teeth and I mean HATES!!!
She LOVES to jump on the trampoline and go swimming.
Her favorite show is Dora and tries any excuse to stay up to watch TV with Mom and Dad by saying things such as, "I watch basketball", "I watch American Idol", and "I watch biking".
My favorite TV memory with
B is watching the Bachelorette with a bunch of my girlfriends and Bradli getting out of bed and watching it with us until 12 am. She totally understood the show by saying, "He cry because he go home". If a 2 year old understands a cheesy reality show, you know it's legit!
She "cries wolf" at night by saying, "I have a stinky bum"- not exactly your ideal sleeper!
She does take great naps, thank goodness!
She used to really dislike men and whenever they would say "Hi" she would respond with, "Go away!"- I know, lovely!
She does LOVE her Daddy and knows if she plays it right, he'll let her stay up at night with him.
One night I went to my room at about 11 turned on the light and found
B sound asleep in my bed, boy did it freak me out! She's a sneaky one!!
She's a tough cookie and can take just about anything from a bloody nose on the tramp, to hundreds of scrapes and bumps, to a brother who wrestles her to the ground. I hate to admit it, but she's often the one that starts it.
I LOVE this girl more than anything. She may not look like me, but she's mine for sure!!

In March the Barnhurst's came for a visit and we had a Ball!!

We hit up the Denver Zoo with all the kiddos for a fun day.

The girls are both obsessed with hide and seek, which we played constantly!

This was my favorite by far!! I wonder where Bradli and Paige are??!!

Crazy Hair, Chippendales, and Cara
Doug did Bradli's hair one night- Crazy!!

I bought the
Cutest bow tie from my favorite girl Tiffany for Valentine's Day, but Jaden wouldn't wear it to church. He could wear it as the newest member of Chippendales!

My sister
Cara came to see us last week and we had more fun than I thought was possible.
Doug had a work conference up in Aspen so we tagged along for the weekend. We stayed at the most insane hotel in Snowmass called the Viceroy. It was heaven.

We all hiked the Maroon Bells on Friday and it was literally breathtaking. The pics don't do it justice.

We hung at the pool and got our swim on.

We played in Aspen and played hard! To see all our adventures and some sweet pics, check out my sister's blog here!
On our way home we took the scenic route called Independence Pass. It was gorgeous! The kiddos miss their Auntie Cara!

Doug
He deserves his own post, I'll leave it at that (and I don't have his pics on my computer from all his nutty adventures he has been on lately). He's beyond incredible in sooo many ways!
I LOVE YOU!

Easter
Are you kidding me?? Look at those 2- YUMMY!!

Playing with their favorite things from the Easter Bunny- BUBBLES!
We went over to Doug's parents house for another Easter Egg hunt and delicious dinner. The kids were spoiled with their Eggs filled with $$. The next day we hit up Target to spend their new cash.
First, Fireworks, and Fergi

Jaden played on his First soccer team: the Super Soccer Shooters and loved it!

This was probably Jaden's Favorite part, the soccer party where he got his First trophy.
Way to go Soccer Shooter!
We were in CA for the 4th of July and watched the Fireworks in Ladera with our family and cousins. I love this pic!! Check out Audrey in the back- crazy girl! Bradli wasn't a huge fan of the show and watched the majority of them with her blanket covering her- poor girl!
Uncle Mike got all the kiddos glow necklaces which entertained them for quite awhile.
I didn't really get any good pics of the group, but here's one with Uncle Mike, my Mom, and my Aunt Shauna's very sassy sandals!!
This little guy took over camera duty and snapped a few gems!

Lucky me!!! When I was in CA in July Fergi was still staying at her parent's house until her big move to San Francisco. We met up for the afternoon and took all the kiddos to Zoomar's for a little petting zoo fun.
Miss Elle was not a big fan of the goats, but found her niche with all the bunnies.
Jaden was obsessed with the guinea pigs, especially the black ones. Thank goodness Fergi was there to get them for him. They're a little too squirmy for me!
Bradli was petrified of the goats and clung to Fergi's leg for help as I snapped some pics. I know, real nice Mom!
We had a great time and miss Miss Elle and her Mama. Bradli still calls all babies "Baby Elle"!

Graduation, Guitars, and Grandma
In May, Jaden Graduated from Miss Cathy's Preschool and we had quite the celebration.
The Graduating class of 2010!
Jaden and the BEST teacher in the world, Miss Cathy!
For the Graduation they performed a number of songs and even got to rock out with their Guitars.
Grandma Squirrel a.k.a. my Mom came to see us in March for my b-day and to spend time with my kiddos. We drove to Manitou Springs and hung out for a few hours. It was quite an interesting little town.

On our way home we went to the
Garden of the Gods and saw some pretty cool rock formations. We had never been there, so it was fun to discover it together.

On my birthday we got our bowl on with the
Grandma Squirrel and then we had to say Good-bye :(

H-Train a.k.a. HEATHER
Heather came to visit us in May and the weather was nuts, with soooo much wind. We had to improvise due to the craziness. Right when she got in, the wind wasn't going to stop Jaden from giving her a wild ride on his Dune Buggy!

One day we went to the Children's Museum and Heather helped B get her paint on!

I know a little scary, but trust us, super safe having a 4 year old use a saw!

They had a really cool bubble exhibit. The H-Train had me make the bubble around us while she snapped some photos of the chaos.

This is my favorite!! The H-Train trying to eat her pizza with a Bradli making it a little difficult! The kiddos sure loved their H-Train!!
Ice Cream
We've been eating a lot of this lately, thanks to all the warm weather!

J-Z will have to be later, my kids are getting a little restless!
