Seriously, Doug really does it all!! Last weekend he and some of his buddies tackled the Copper Triangle for his 3rd time. That's 80 miles from Copper Mountain, up Vail Pass (18 miles up hill), and back to Copper. I was nervous for him because all he has been doing this summer is this . . .
LANDSCAPING our front and back yard (pics to come and NO that's not our tramp, but we do get to use it A LOT). He seriously works his regular job all day and then works on our yard until 10pm- not fun, but it's looking awesome, so needless to say his training has been on the back burner.

While we waited for the guys we had lunch, but the kids just wanted to hit the playground. Once the guys finished they went and ate while the kiddos played and played. It was an awesome day and our hubbies rocked the Copper Triangle once again!!

Obviously we couldn't just let the Barnhursts leave so they came and stayed with us for a few days. We went out on a hot date with our hubbies, partied it up with the kiddos, "let" Doug watch all 5 kiddos so Megan and I could go out with our favorite pal Brecken, tried to stomach an ABC Family movie that was BEYOND BAD, watched the season premiere of the horrific Bachelor Pad (which unfortunately we will continue to watch), ate a lot of egg salad sandwiches, and enjoyed ourselves while the boys LITERALLY played Legos for hours down in the basement. They would just come up for food and to use the bathroom- NO JOKE! Once again, I barely took any pics, but here are a few.
Logan at Civic Green Park
We took the kiddos to Pirate's Cove and both Bradli and Paige started out with piggies in their hair. Once we hit lunch, both of their hair bands had broke. They both had sweet hair the rest of the day- I think I had that same hair style in 4th grade and someone dubbed it Birds Nest- so sad!
