CRAZY!

This is a story of a crazy family and their many CRAZY adventures!!

The crazy Dad decided to go goose hunting and then to Zion and hike/ swim/ climb in the freezing weather with his work buddies. Of course, on the way back, they had to hit the slopes!

When he told me he got one and I saw the pictures, I thought, "How could he not?? Look at all the geese just hanging out." Apparently, those are decoys- pretty tricky!

Meanwhile, the crazy Mom was hanging out with 2 CRAZY 2 year olds all weekend.

One little guy, who shall remain nameless, still will not sleep properly!!

So the crazy Mom, decided to bust out a Christmas present early, so her son could entertain himself and she could rest!

Now the crazy family is finally back together and decided to build a Gingerbread Train .

Blogger Burn-Out Big Time!!

I know, I 'm the worst ever! I can't believe I haven't busted out a post in almost a month. I am filled with excuses and the most pathetic thing is the guilt I have- WHY, but it's true, I feel guilty. Things have been crazy, now let me explain. . .

#1 We've had about 2 weeks of pure insanity when we took Jaden's soother a.k.a. pacifier/ binky away from him. I can't even explain how terrible it was. I thought I had it under control, but oh NO!!! Poor little guy, he wouldn't sleep, threw himself on the ground, kicked the door, etc. He's soother free and we're finally getting a full night's sleep- AMEN!

Packing up ALL the soothers to give to a baby at Target, now that he's a BIG BOY!

He traded his soothers for a Thomas the Train pillow, which he doesn't even want to sleep with!

#2 We were hit with the stomach flu which ended with throw-up all over me and a worn out little guy!
#3 I'm pregnant and have been sick! I'm finally starting to feel normal again, but the last few months have kicked my booty! I was so spoiled with Jaden because I wasn't sick one day! I now have more sympathy than ever for all of those women who have difficult pregnancies. It's NOT fun!! We're so excited and can't wait until May 20th!!

Now that I have been Debbie Downer- sorry, we have had some fun in between all the craziness. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Doug's family and loved spending time with Joel and Monica!

A Little Explaining!!

Where the heck have I been?? I can give a ton of excuses, but why, I'm back !! Now I guess I owe some explaining about The Chapped Lips. It's a real band, yeah right!! My friend Clairissa is in LOVE with Muse and decided to make a girls trip out of going to the concert in AZ. She is an incredible photographer and is a genius on the old Mac, so she had us do a photo shoot and make a video. We had the best time acting like rocker chicks and making dorks of ourselves filming the video. Clairissa then cut it together and put it on You Tube. I think we might be famous!!

Now, how do I know these rocker chicks?? We know each other from our ward in CO. The bummer is Clairissa has moved to Georgia and Kara moved back to CA. The ward has never been the same since! Erin and Susanne still live by me and are proud to be a member of The Chapped Lips. I hope this explained some of your questions, and yeah, I know we're NUTS!!!

What else has been going on? Here's a quick recap:

The Young Women earned a trip up to Grand Lake and we had a blast!!

Marc and Karen took us to the Rockies playoff game against the Padres. It was so exciting to be there when they won. You all know what has happened since that game, swept the D'Backs and got spanked my the Red Sox last night. Hopefully they will get their act together. As Jaden says, "Go Rocks!!"

I love Karen cheering behind Doug. Jaden was out of it. We didn't get home until midnight!

Now this past week my Mom came to visit!! We had the best time together. We stayed up in Breckenridge and went to Grand Lake. Fall has arrived and winter is just around the corner!

It was soooooo windy in Grand Lake!!

We had to make a CPK visit and even found some killer deals at Anthropologie!!

Happy Birthday Jaden!!

Our little guy is officially 2 (bummer, now he costs a plane ticket)! We packed a lot in this weekend celebrating his b-day!!

We had a b-day party at Belleview Park on Saturday where we rode the train! He has become a train guy for sure!

At first Jaden liked hitting Elmo, but was very SAD when Elmo's neck broke! Thank goodness for a Grandpa who repaired his broken neck!
